We will be focusing on Anti-Bullying Week at Mind Body Spirit from Monday 13th November.
These are our aims:
To empower children and young people to celebrate what makes them, and others, unique.
Help children and young people understand how important it is that every child feels valued and included in school, able to be themselves, without fear of bullying.
Talk to our students about bullying, difference and equality.
Take individual and collective action to prevent bullying, creating safe environments where children can be themselves.
We will be working on the following areas to help prevent bullying from occurring and tackle it effectively should it arise:-
Provide a safe environment for our students to train in
Educating our students on what bullying actually is and how to tackle it effectively
Encourage good behaviour (respect, discipline, support and encouragement) at all times Ask your students to look out for signs of bullying and report it
Role playing with our students in different situations to help them identify and address bullying
