Mind Body Spirit to host Midlands Course & Championships

Due to the exciting news that the United Nations of Ju-Jtsu Congress & Championships is going ahead in Germany from Friday 4th to Monday 7th October, the Midlands Course and Championships will now be held on Sunday 10th November.

Adults & Young Masters Ju-JitsuSensei Steve Silcock from Ellesmere Port Training Centre Ju-Jitsu visited the academy and led our Thursday Young Masters and Adults classes.
Our students were treated to a range of Ju-Jitsu techniques, self defence applications, fun skills and drills, with everyone thoroughly enjoying the sessions.

Team MBS Shines at Southern International Ju-Jitsu Course and Championships

Team MBS delivered an outstanding performance at the Southern International Ju-Jitsu Course and Championships held last weekend, showcasing their exceptional skill, dedication, and sportsmanship.
The event, which attracted competitors from across the UK & Europe, featured a variety of categories, including Random Attacks, Continuous Fighting, Open Hand and Weapon Kata Team MBS, participated with great enthusiasm and achieved remarkable success.
Head Coach Sensei Michael Holden expressed immense pride in the team’s achievements, stating, “Our competitors and officials have worked tirelessly, and their dedication has truly paid off.
This event was a testament to their hard work, resilience, and the spirit of Ju-Jitsu.”
Team MBS’s participation was marked not only by their competitive success but also by their camaraderie and sportsmanship.
They engaged with participants from all over the UK, fostering a spirit of international friendship and mutual respect.
The Southern International Ju-Jitsu Course and Championships is renowned for its high level of competition and the opportunity it provides for practitioners to learn from each other.
Team MBS took full advantage of the training course conducted by world-renowned Ju-Jitsu masters, further enhancing their skills and knowledge.
As Team MBS returns home, they bring with them not only medals but also invaluable experiences and memories.
Their success at this prestigious event underscores their position as a leading force in the Ju-Jitsu community and sets a high standard for future competitions.
We now look forward the the BJJAGB National Championships in August and the Mind Body Spirit Midlands Course and Championships in November
