Womens Self-Defence Course
6 x 1 hour Womens Self-Defence workshops commencing at 7.30pm on Tuesday 5th June at our fully air conditioned venue within the Community Hub at the Proact Stadium.
Our Womens Self-Defence course is targeted towards women who want to learn self-defence but are unsure where to start.
The course is tailored to the individual in terms of your fitness level and ability. You will train with like minded individuals & other beginners so will make many new friends.
You will spend time in the classroom & the dojo with this introduction to Womens Self-Defence. The skills that you will learn are proven & effective in real life situations and will give you the confidence to know that you can protect yourself or your loved ones should the need arise.
The course covers the following:
The Law on Reasonable Force
Verbal diffusion skills
Setting Verbal, Physical & Psychological Boundaries
Use of Natural Body Weapons
Practical self-defence techniques
Identifying target areas
Control & Restraint
Building confidence in your own capabilities
Cost: £50 payable in advance
